Summary

Description

The black Fairchild f6802P was a second source for the Motorola MC6802 microprocessor. The 6802 had 128 bytes of RAM and on chip clock generation. The 4.000 MHz crystal frequency in the metal can next to the 6802 was divided by 4 to produce the 1 MHz system clock. The white AMI S6820 chip was a second source for the Motorola MC6820 Peripheral Interface Adapter (PIA). This provided two 8-bit I/O ports. The 2716 2KB EPROM with the "6802 VER 1.7" label contains the firmware for this board.

This board was designed and built in September 1980 by Michael Holley
