English: Farndon Windmill A familiar sight from the A46 and River Trent between Farndon and Newark. Farndon Mill is a grade II listed, five storey tower mill built in 1823, its machinery was removed in 1953 and is now in a sorry state of repair and now considered to be at 'Extreme Risk' on the Newark & Sherwood Buildings at Risk Register http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/bar-newarksherwood.pdf
