Summary

Description

c/n 920. Swedish Air Force serial Fv2542. Only four CR42 fighters are known to exist. With three of them firmly residing in the national museums of the UK, Sweden and Italy, this fourth machine is something very special because she is destined to fly. Recovered from a crash site in Sweden in 1983, she has undergone a long and complex restoration which started in Venegono, Italy, before moving to Duxford and more recently to nearby Audley End. Now complete, this Fighter Collection aeroplane was returned to Duxford and reassembled just in time to make a static appearance on the morning of the annual Flying Legends Airshow. Duxford Airfield, Cambridgeshire, UK.
