Description
English: Green, yellow, and blue are from the flag of Gaasterland municipality, which was Oudemirdum's municipality until 1983. White is from the flag of De Friese Meren, its current municipality. Ears of corn, the crown, and the red hare also come from Gaaasterland's flag, the hare jumping into the present.
