Summary

Description
English: Graph of the density Omega of the universe in units of the critical density as a function of cosmic time (not to scale), demonstrating that Omega = 1 is repulsive. The blue line represents our universe, and the red line a hypothetical universe with an initial Omega which differs greatly from 1.
