Summary

Description
English: German Luftwaffe ace Oskar-Heinz Bär (right) the Stab I./JG 77. The photo was probably taken at Comiso, Italy, in July 1942. The Messerschmitt Me 109F-4 to the left shows kill markings and a wreath of oak leafs surrounding the number 40 (for 40 kills). Bär himself had 100+ kills at that time and finished the war with 221 kills.
