English: Former Friends' Meeting House, Quaker Lane, Hightown, Liversedge, West Yorkshire. Built about 1699, extensively altered in the 19th century and refurbished in the 20th century. The General Quarter Sessions of the West Riding, held at Wakefield on 11th January 1699 ordered that the newly erected house be recorded as a place of religious worship. (David Blamires, A History of Quakerism in Liversedge and Scholes, circa 1974, via imagesof england.org.uk). The house was sold in 1904 and converted into a private home. The front of the house is well hidden by a high fence, and English Heritage do not yet have a photograph of it.
