Description Glacier National Park, Montana, USA. View from Hidden Lake Overlook on the Going to the Sun Road. Original caption: The view from Hidden Lake Overlook provides a spectacular example of the power of Ice Age glaciers. This cirque (bowl shaped amphitheater) was carved out by huge glaciers tens of thousands of years ago. Just beyond the ridge in the background lies Sperry Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in the park today. It is tiny compared to the massive ice sheets that sculpted the parks topography.
