English: This image was taken to help launch Turbans and Trust, an intitiave of Harjit Singh and the team of Daniel Connell, Jasdeep Singh, Guramrit Kaur and Gurkiran Kaur in 2013. Turbans and Trust has become a significant voluntary NFP, Australian movement foregrounding the Sikh turban. Its aim is to start conversations about what it means to be different and what it means to not be afraid of difference. |
