English: Herrings Stream A tributary of the Adur that rises near Clayton, travels through Hassocks, skirts the western side of Burgess Hill, the northern side of Hickstead All England Show Jumping Course before meeting the Adur north west of Great Wapses Farm. Viewed from a point just beyond where the footpath that connects Hammonds Ridge Meadow with Hurstpierpoint College crosses the stream.
