Summary[edit]

Kid elephants are put in this kottil (cage)to teach them commands, to obey human beings. Kodanadu Anakkottil is a training place for elephants which are caught in their kid's stage from the forest. Here they give training to understand human commands to be used for festivals and other uses. This is the only place in kerala where an Anakkottil can be found in kerala. It you may reach the place by traveling just 5-6 km from the cochin International Airport (CIAL, Cochin,Kerala, India.
