English: Three Officers undergoing training at Southern Naval Command established a new national record for nonstop cycling. The Officers Sub Lieutenant Yogesh Tiwari, Sub Lieutenant Rajanikant Yadav and Sub Lieutenant Deepak Joseph cycled nonstop from INS Venduruthy at Kochi to INS Rajali at Arakkonam, Tamilnadu and back covering a distance of 1423 Km in 94 hours. The previous national record is for a distance of 1200 Km covered in 76 hours and 10 minutes. |
