Summary[edit]

This is a derivative work. The artwork was scanned from the box the CDs come in. Extensive image editing was performed to create the uploaded illustration, but all rights remain with the copyright holder.

Fair use in Jefferson Airplane Loves You[edit]

Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the article topic.
2. It is not replaceable with an uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image.
3. It is a low resolution (.jpg) image, and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods.
4. The image is not used in such a way that a reader would be confused into believing that the article is written or authorized by the owner of the image.
5. The image is already internationally distributed to identify the album as part of catalogs and reviews. The market value is not degraded by providing yet another instance of the image.
