English: Lithuanian Jews welcoming Lithuanian President Antanas Smetona and his companions under a Lithuanian and Hebrew banner, Švėkšna, 1928. The banner near Švėkšna Synagogue has text: "Mes, Švėkšnos gyventojai žydai, sveikiname Tautos vadą, respublikos prezidentą ir jo palydovus ir linkime Jums, kad sekantį kartą pas mus jau iš Vilniaus ateitumėt" (English: We, the Jewish residents of Švėkšna, congratulate the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic and his companions and wish you to come to us already from Vilnius next time).[1]
Lietuvių: Sutikimo ceremonija 1928 m. Švėkšnoje, kurioje Lietuvos žydai sveikino Lietuvos Prezidentą Antaną Smetoną ir jo palydovus ir linkėjo sekantį kartą atvykti iš Vilniaus. Ant iškabos šalia Švėkšnos sinagogos yra užrašas „Mes, Švėkšnos gyventojai žydai, sveikiname Tautos vadą, respublikos prezidentą ir jo palydovus ir linkime Jums, kad sekantį kartą pas mus jau iš Vilniaus ateitumėt”.[1]
