Summary

Description
English: John Factor, aka Jake the Barber, stands in the open doorway of a car. He wears a long coat tied shut. He holds a sheaf of papers under his right arm, and his left hand is in his coat pocket. Factor was once a West Side Chicago barber who became a gangster and a con artist and swindled English citizens out of $7-8 million. While fighting extradition to England, Factor was kidnapped by Chicago gangsters and held for ransom. After the kidnapping trial, he moved to Los Angeles. He was the half brother of cosmetics founder, Max Factor.
