Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota
The Stevens house was built in 1850 downstream from present Hennepin Ave. near West River Parkway. It is the first permanent house in Minneapolis and is the second oldest remaining house in what is now Minneapolis. This 3rd move was to Minnehaha Park (or near to). The house is part of the Minnehaha Park Historic District which is on the National Register of Historic Places (1969)
