Description
English: A portrait of John Nunn of Ipswich (UK), who was shipwrecked while whale fishing in the Kerguelen Islands in 1825, and whose account of his adventures formed the basis of the Narrative of the Wreck of the Favorite retold by and published for Dr William Barnard Clarke (physician) of Ipswich in 1850; the portrait drawn by his brother Dr Edward Clarke.
