Čeština: Josef František Kafka (* 16. června 1895, Praha – 9. července 1943, Berlín-Plötzensee) byl tiskař, litograf a fotograf (majitel a provozovatel fotografického ateliéru v Praze–Nuslích), který se zapojil do domácí protiněmecké odbojové činnosti v rámci vojenské ilegální organizace Obrana národa do skupiny, jenž v letech 1939 až 1940 zajišťovala nelegální přechod československých letců přes hranice Protektorátu Čechy a Morava na Slovensko a do Maďarska. Na fotografii z roku 1939 (pořízené samospouští) se svojí dcerou Helenou (* 1. března 1936).
English: Josef František Kafka (* June 16, 1895, Prague - July 9, 1943, Berlin-Plötzensee) was a printer, lithographer and photographer (owner and operator of a photographic studio in Prague-Nusle) who participated in domestic anti-German resistance activities as a member of military illegal organization "Defense of the Nation" in the group that (in the years 1939 to 1940) ensured the illegal passage of Czechoslovak pilots across the borders of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to Slovakia and Hungary. In this photo from year 1939 (taken by a self-timer) is Josef Kafka with his daughter Helena (* March 1, 1936)
