Description
Français : Des deux noix, la noix d’Amérique (Juglans nigra), à gauche, a la coquille la plus dure. De plus, ses parois internes sont elles aussi très dures, ce qui rend l’extraction de l’amande comestible très malaisée, par comparaison à la noix commune (Juglans regia), à droite, dont les parois internes sont fines et facilement détachables, tandis que la coque externe se sépare assez aisément en deux.
