Summary

Description
English: Baroque pulpit in the Karlskirche, Vienna. Wooden structure with rich floral and rocaille ornaments, gold and brown colour scheme, the abat-voix forms a canopy with two putti holding a cross and a chalice with host; flaming urn on the top. Designed by Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach in 1735, executed by Claude le Fort de Plessy. Restored to its original form in 2007.
