| Description |
English: Lincoln Public Library. The new library was made possible through the generous benefaction of Scottish-American millionaire Andrew Carnegie to a design by Sir Reginald Blomfield. It was opened by Old Lincolnian Dr.T.E.Page on 24th February 1914, just a few weeks before the outbreak of the first world war. |
