Summary

Description
English: Detail of Lock 70 upper pocket. This is a composite lock, so it was lined with concrete. The concrete has fallen partially, showing the stonework behind it. Also this is not the original gate. Note that the gates originally were below the sill wall, typical of the 1830 redesign of the locks.
