Tiếng Việt: Đây là biểu trưng chính thức của thị xã Quảng Trị, tỉnh Quảng Trị, Cộng hoà Xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam.

Ý nghĩa biểu trưng:
Biểu trưng thể hiện hình tượng Đài tưởng niệm thành cổ Quảng Trị chỉ với 2 màu, màu đỏ của máu xương đã đổ và màu xanh của cỏ non, nhưng qua đó đủ thấy được sự khốc liệt của chiến tranh. Thành cổ Quảng Trị là di tích quốc gia đặc biệt của Việt Nam. Năm 1972, nơi đây đã diễn ra trận đánh khốc liệt nhất chiến tranh Việt Nam. Trong 81 ngày đêm, thành cổ chưa đầy 3km vuông đã hứng chịu khoảng 1.6 triệu viên đạn pháo và 120 ngàn tấn bom (bằng 7 lần quả bom nguyên tử mà Mỹ ném xuống Hiroshima). Tính trung bình, các chiến sĩ Quân Giải phóng tham gia trận đánh phải hứng chịu 9 tấn bom và 110 viên đạn pháo mỗi người.
