English: Successful bet from the Honorable Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius Pravind kumar Jugnauth when the Light Rail Vehicles (LRV ) is considered as an alternative mode of transportation by his government . The Metro took a new step in its dynamic testing on the Sunday afternoon of 29th September 2019. After a journey from the Richelieu depot to Rose Hill last week, one of the Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) named Mauricio made another journey to Caudan with, on board, officers from Larsen & Toubro, Metro Express limited (MEL), as well as the Minister of Public Infrastructure, Nando Bodha, directors of Metro Express Limited, Dev Beekharry, and Georges Chung Senior Adviser at the Prime Minister's Office. The journey for the Urbos 100 started around 4:30 p.m. and ended shortly before 6 p.m. Travelling at a speed of 10 to 15 km / h, depending on the regions, the train was able to achieve its objective thanks to the electrification of the rails through the electricity supplied by the Central Electricity Board (C E B ). An event that attracted curious people along all the way. When the train ran, many people left their homes to see the vehicle. One of them even waved the national flag to greet those on the train. According to an independent engineer, who was able to make the journey from Rose-Hill to Richelieu, passengers will spend "little time" on the train to reach their destination. A passenger related "The trip is pleasant and the view of Mauritius is superb,".
