Description
English: The last USAF RF-4C to be converted to a target drone, McDonnell Douglas RF-4C-40-MC Phantom 68-0599, at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona shown being taxied out for a flight to Mojave Airport, California, April 2013. Just after being prepared for flying it was given a name "Last One". The plane was retired by the USAF and was a part of the AMARG inventory since 18 January 1989. No Phantoms are left to be converted. At Mojave, it will be converted by BAE Systems under contract into a QF-4 remotely operated drone for subsequent transfer to the 82d Aerial Targets Squadron, Tyndall AFB, Florida.
