Summary

Description
English: Mill Bridge near Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire. Trent and Mersey Canal. The canal was fully opened in 1777. Mill Bridge (No 39) used to carry Mill Lane across the canal to the A38, and across. Since the dual carriageway was constructed, this route has been closed, and people from Barton-under-Needwood are routed to other more elaborate crossings which allow uninterrupted traffic flow on the A38.
