Robert F Satterwhite, 1984-1990, studying how spherical cloud dynamics could apply to quantum particle came to understand that these clouds tumbled, not just spun. Tumbling clouds experience different hemispheric spin rates. Only so many spin configurations are possible when placing systems together, which happen to correspond to a few quantum numbers. A Tumble-Plane represents a perpendicular plane across a cloud's primary axis where the secondary intersects it. The image was created to help visualize how tumble-planes are tied to quantum particles. The study had never been conducted before so there was no prior possible references. | ||
