Description
English: Hanshin Railway Mukogawa Station in the mid- 1950's. Left side track is dual gauge.
日本語: 阪神電気鉄道武庫川駅。この写真は鉄道関係の出版物などでよく武庫川線開業時のものとして掲載されているが、出典と思われる阪神電鉄社史「輸送奉仕の50年」(昭和30年3月25日発行)にはそのような説明はない(汽車と電車が仲よく走る三線式軌道 -昭和18.11開通 同線武庫川駅付近― 同書)。むしろ停車中の1121号の尾灯(兼標識灯)が二灯化されておりドア部にも本線の大型化に対応するためのステップが設けられていること(いずれも1950年代前半に実施)、行先板の表示が「武庫川･洲先」となっていること、さらに1957年には1121号に代わって国道線の71形が運行されていることから撮影は1954年と思われる。左側の三線軌条を通過するのは蒸気機関車牽引の国鉄の貨物列車。
