Summary

Description Eriogonum cinereum—ashyleaf buckwheat. Coastal bluffs from Santa Barbara to San Pedro, where it was first collected in 1839. The species name refers to the ashen appearance of the upper side of the leaves. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
