English: From Suikoden of Japanese Heroes (Yeiyû Yamato Suikoden, 英雄日本水滸伝). Publisher: Kujioka-ya Keijirô. Woodblock print on paper circa 1843 by Utagawa Kuniyoshi. Scene description: Ogata Shuma Hiroyuki (尾形周馬寛行), (later Jiraiya) raises his sword to kill a giant python with the help of his summoned toad. Jiraiya is portrayed as a ninja.
