日本語: シンボルマークのモチーフとなる「参」の文字は“あつまる”という意味を持ち、明治神宮に至る参道として拓かれた表参道のアイデンティティを主張するとともに、人々が集い様々な文化が生み出されてきた表参道を象徴します。
シンボルマークのデザインは、明治神宮の大鳥居とそれにつながる参道、さらに表参道ヒルズの大きな特徴であり、第2の表参道とも言うべき建物内部に広がる“スパイラルスロープ”を表現。表参道のケヤキ並木（表参道ヒルズのスパイラルスロープ）を、人々が心地よく闊歩するシーンの想起を意図しています。 また、「参」の文字を囲む楕円は、表参道の頭文字「O（オー）」と、日本の文化的な図像（アイコン）のひとつと言える「ハンコ」の形態を表現したものです。 |
