Summary

Description
English: Penang Masonic Temple, 136 Western Road, George Town.

The Penang Masonic Temple is a rather distinct example of Art Deco architecture in Penang. It was built in the late-1920s by Masons in Penang Island. Local legends told stories of how it used to be a gathering place for cults, although the veracity of this story remains dubious.

Dated 29 September 2022.
