Summary

Description
English: Mirror Ambigram Penelope / benevole readable through a symmetry of horizontal axis. An other photographic version with a coin (1 euro cent) of the picture that became a meme on the web immediately after its posting the 5th of February 2017. Penelope Fillon, wife of French politician and former Prime Minister of France François Fillon, is suspected of having received wages for a fictitious job. Ironically, or paradox, her name upside down becomes benevole (voluntary in French), suggesting dedication for a free service. Shared tens of thousands of times on the social networks, this image made the buzz the day after its diffusion on Wikimedia Commons via several French, Belgian and Switz medias, such as Le Matin, Le Soir, Le Point, Télé Star, Sud Info, or NordPresse. This version with a coin is an addition to a first upload from the 5th February 2017, taken from the original archived document.
