Summary

Description
English: A strong permanent neodymium magnet is stably levitated in a stray magnetic field (around 500 G = 0.05 T) below a superconducting magnet (11 T). Stable levitation is achieved using the weak diamagnetism of human fingertips. This experiment has been described by Geim A. K. et al.: Magnet levitation at your fingertips, Nature 400, 323 - 324, (22 July 1999).
Čeština: Silný neodymový magnet je stabilně nadnášen v rozptylovém poli pod supravodivým magnetem s maximální indukcí 11 T. Stability je dosaženo dík velmi slabému diamagnetismu lidských prstů.
