Cette exposition-manifeste, accueillie par le musée, a été réalisée par le Musée de Nouvelle-Zélande Te Papa Tongarewa. Elle permet de découvrir la culture māori dans toutes ses dimensions, d'appréhender des éléments majeurs de l'histoire de ce peuple et de percevoir leurs relations et leurs conflits avec les anciens colons occidentaux de la Nouvelle-Zélande Aotearoa d'aujourd'hui.
