The inscription reads (translated from Spanish): "In remembrance of Luis Cobo, Juan Mañas y Luis Montero, sons of Cantabria, tortured and assassinated by uncontrolled members of the Civil Guard in the so-called Almería Case. Victims of the time of [the Spanish] Transition [to democracy]. So that the rescued memory shall not be again lost. Santander, 15th October 2021.
