Summary

Description
English: Plas Glynamel, Lower Town. This lovely house was built in 1800 by the historian and archaeologist Richard Fenton. His wife was French and its design may have been influenced by the architecture of that country. Fenton also landscaped the grounds and was host here to literary figures of the time. Built on land said to belong to a local woman, she cursed him and no child was born here for many years.
