Summary

Description
English: Portrait of a philosopher, early 5th century AD. The portrait most likely represents the Neo-Platonic philosopher Plutarch of Athens (350-433 AD, not Plutarch of Chaironeia), who revived the Platonic Academy in Athens, and who sponsored the procession of the Great Panathenaia on three occassions. Acropolis Museum Athens, Acr. 1313.
Čeština: Portrét filozofa, počátek 5. století n. l. Portrét s největší pravděpodobností představuje novoplatónského filosofa Plútarcha z Athén (350-433 n. l., nikoliv Plútarcha z Chaironeie), který v Athénách obnovil platónskou Akadémii a který třikrát sponzoroval průvod o Velkých Panathénajích.
