Description
English: Diagram showing that a tetrameric organolithium cluster can be described as a (distorted) cubane with alternating Li and C vertices, or equivalently as a tetrahedron with Li vertices and C atoms floating above each face. Based on various crystal structures, such as (MeLi)4 in J. Organomet. Chem. (1970) 21, 265–268 and (tBuLi)4 in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. Engl. (1993) 32, 580–582.
