Description
English: Rachel F. Seidman, Director of the Southern Oral History Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a 2018/19 Fulbright Scholar at the University of Turku, Finland, visited Austria on April 8 and 9, 2019 for a series of workshops and lectures on feminist activism in the U.S. Throughout her presentations in Vienna and Linz, Professor Seidman reflected on the past, present, and future of the U.S. Women’s Movement. Programming also included an interview for FM4 radio and an evening discussion at the Amerika Haus, moderated by Sylvia Mieszkowski from the University of Vienna.
