Summary

Description
English: The Reservoir Church, located at 170 Rindge Avenue in the North Cambridge neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was built as Our Lady of Pity (Notre Dame de Pitié) Roman Catholic Church, established in 1891 by French Canadian immigrants. The church was closed by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston in 2003, at which time it served a Haitian congregation. The building was bought by the Reservoir Church in 2004; another building became the Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School. The Reservoir Church congregation was founded in the mid-90s, and held its first service in 1998. It was originally called the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Cambridge. They left Vineyard/USA in 2015 after feeling pressure to limit the participation of LGBT people in the congregation. (Sources: Boston Globe story. "Our Story" on church website)
