English: 1937 South Elevation Rose Hill, Rose Hill Road, Port Tobacco vicinity, Charles County, Other Title: Dr. Gustavus Brown House. Built late 18th Century, restored 1937. Repository: Library of Congress, Prints and Photograph Division, Washington, D.C. 20540 USA. Survey number: HABS MD-58. Call number: HABS MD,9-PORTO.V,1 "Frame (nogged with brick), two stories and attic with brick ends containing four outside chimneys. Formal composition with wings. South elevation is 5-bays wide with central pavilion containing door and arched window on second floor, the whole surmounted by an open pediment. Interio plan is very regular with a central hall."
