Summary

Description
English: The coat of arms of Wedel-Jarlsberg on the old grave chapel as part of the small Sem Church (Norwegian: Sem kirke) by Jarlsberg Manor (Jarlsberg Hovedgård) three kilometres northwest of the centre of the town of Tønsberg in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. It is the oldest stone church in Vestfold, dated before 1100 and built in Romanesque style.
Norsk bokmål: Sem kirke, en hvitkalket middealderkirke i romansk stil fra cirka år 1100, like utenfor Tønsberg by i Tønsberg kommune i Vestfold og Telemark fylke, like ved Jarlsberg hovedgård. Slekstvåpenet til Wedel-Jarlsberg over familiens gravkammer («Det wedelske gravkapell») bak kirkebygget. Våpenskjoldet er fra 1684 og har grevekrone og valgspråket Recte faciendo nihil timeas, «Gjør rett, frykt intet».
