Description
English: Before World War I, the supply and maintenance of all technical stores and equipment, including ammunition and guns, was the responsibility of the South African Ordnance Corps. Reorganisation was in progress when the World War II broke out, and in November 1939 the SA Ordnance Corps, the SA Service Corps and the SA Administrative, Pay and Clerical Corps were replaced by the Technical Services Corps and the 'Q' Services Corps
Afrikaans: Voor die Eerste Wereldoorlog was die Suid-Afrikaanse Krygsbehoeftesdiens (SAKD) verantwoordelik vir die verskaffing en onderhoud van alle tegniese store insluitend ammunisie en wapens. Herorganisasie het gelei tot die ontbinding van die korps in November 1939 en die stigting van die Tegniese Dienskorps (TDK) en die 'K' Dienskorps (KDK).
