English: Grenaa Church or Sct. Gertruds Churcis located in Grenaa city center. The church is built around 1300, but the church's interior was in 1649 destroyed by a fire. The reconstruction of the 1650s was a domed church. It is built of brick and granite. A renovation in 1870 gave the church its distinctive spire.
Dansk: Grenaa Kirke eller Sankt Gertruds kirke, ligger i Grenaa centrum. Kirken er bygget ca. 1300, men kirkens indre i 1649 ødelagt ved en brand. Genopbygningen i 1650'erne blev til et hvælvet kirkerum .Den er bygget af munkesten og granitkvadre. En ombygning i 1870'erne har givet kirken dens karakteristiske spir med kamtakker. |
