Summary

Description
English: A puller rod for growing silicon boules by Czochralski process. It is made from single-crystal silicon. The shiny tip is the part to be dipped into molten silicon and acts as a seed crystal. Note the notch for holding by a chuck. The rod weighs 36 grams and is about 14 cm long and 1.2 cm in diameter.
