Summary

Description
English: In 1997 the American United Electrical Union and the Frente Autentico del Trabajado, an association of united Mexican labor unions, organized this mural to show solidarity between Mexican and United States workers. The mural is titled "Unions Without Borders" or "Sindicalismo Sin Fronteras," and the three largest figures represented are mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata and Lucy and Albert Parsons, important american labor activists of the late 20th century involved in the Chicago Haymarket riots. Lucy Parsons was of partial Mexican heritage. The mural was painted by Mike Alewitz and is approximately 9' tall by 35' long.
