Français : Solidus en or pâle de 20 siliques émis par Childéric II (662-675).

Avers : CHILDE…CVS REX grand buste diadémé et drapé à droite. Revers : (MA)SILIE CIVIT[ATI] croix au pied potencé, accostée des lettres M et A, posée sur un globe, entre deux séries de points : quatre d’un côté pour X et deux de l’autre, (résidu des chiffres de valeur).

Ce monnayage est presque en argent, c’est le tout dernier solidus marseillais. On considère que c’est à partir de 675 que l’or disparaît en Gaule. A Marseille, la disparition de l’or n’est pas aussi précise que dans le royaume Franc. On peut encore attribuer des tremisses à Clovis III (675-676) et à Dagobert II (676-679).
