English: J. C. Davis illustration of carriage heading from Willoughby Run eastward into Herbst Woods toward Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Springs Hotel Avenue along the Horse Railroad. Westbound en:horse trolley (middle) and Springs Hotel (background),[1] buildings of Katalysine Springs (right)[1] included 12 apartments and subsequent 1895 Bath House.[2] Area became 20th century site of Gettysburg Country Club golf course acquired by National Park Service in 2011. Bachelder, in the office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington", see page 106. |
