English: An fire plaque of the Sun Fire Office (established 1710) who were the first organization ever to use these devices. This one was issued to Richard Rogers, a bacon curer and cheesemonger on the 30th March 1796, as part of a policy taken out on his house and workshops on Queen Street, Portsea, Hampshire.
